Biomedical Engineer Prof Geoff Chase co-authored a critical insulin paper for Lucy Letby’s defence with Chemical Engineer Helen Shannon.

They claim to have found a natural explanation for the insulin tests that “proved poisoning”.

But is there substance to the theory? (1/7)

Dr Shoo Lee was a brilliant neonatologist according to Lucy Letby's prosecution.

Until he disagreed with them.

Senior Coroner's Officer Stephanie Davies's work was so good it led to the investigation, according to the police.

Until she disagreed with them.

Funny that.

NHS WILL USE AI TO PREVENT ANOTHER LUCY LETBY SCANDAL

Never mind the AI in the Telegraph headline.

The two big questions: What was the Lucy Letby scandal? And would this proposal prevent the next?

This system *could* be the very thing that needs to happen.

A good analysis of a little-known facet of the Lucy Letby case.

If the running time is too daunting, skip to 15:20 which is a great summary of how medical deductive reasoning should work, comparing it with what the prosecution's expert witness did.

In Feb 2025, a shocked nation learned that there was no medical evidence against Lucy Letby.

Just 18 months earlier, the country was united in revulsion. Her guilt was uncontested.

But allegations are now mounting that the truth has been manipulated. For cash. (1/12)

I was wondering about the 7 doctors who accused Lucy Letby. How are they doing now?

I wrote them this, not in anger but in hope. I've no idea how to contact them directly, I don't know if any will ever see it.

But I do hope so.

On June 30 2023, Lucy Letby was in court and in tears hearing her last hope as her defence lawyer finished summing up.

That same day the prosecution were smiling and joking at an embargoed press conference. These images and details have only just emerged. (1/5)

This book by @amandaknox.com is outstanding. Beautifully written, moving, totally absorbing.

And yet @amazonuk.bsky.social crap all over it with slander. Aren't you guys evil enough already?
Still waiting for @amazonuk.bsky.social to remove my new book from their list of "murderer biographies."

You remember the story of the doctor who walked in on Lucy Letby standing doing nothing in a crisis? The only person who saw any suspicious activity?

Turns out she called him in for help.

David Rose and Cleuci de Oliveira have the story.

A new short film from me - Lucy Letby and the Witch Hunt Machine.

The official inquiry into Lucy Letby was set up to learn lessons. Is it looking in the right places?

Contains new interviews with @gill1109.bsky.social and Private Eye's MD Phil Hammond.

This is huge. Lee's paper was cited as proof of murder at Letby's trial.
His refutation of this was dismissed at appeal on grounds that he should have been called in the trial.
He is joining her defence for a press conference next week. Seems like he's unhappy with the way his work has been used.
New medical evidence in the Lucy Letby case to be revealed next week.

The panel will include Shoo Lee, who wrote a central paper cited by the prosecution. The evidence is said to be the unanimous findings of independent analysis by 14 neonatal experts.

And there it is - the police determined an event to be suspicious if it Lucy Letby was on duty. Anything bad on any other shift was ignored.

Lucy was the member of staff working the most with the sickest babies.

The CPS blocked any statistical analysis. I wonder why. @gill1109.bsky.social
