For ages I've wanted a little lab where I can experiment with new visual components. Somewhere to tinker in isolation, with extra tools to help me test stuff.

Tada! samwho.dev/lab

I'd like to eventually port all of my old components into here, and for this to be my "quiver" to pick from.

Curious what it looks like to implement the new Inertia Infinite Scroll component? Have 3 minutes? That's all it takes.

I whipped up a little demo:

Inertia 2.2 is here and it ships with a new <InfiniteScroll> component! If you've ever built infinite scrolling by hand, you know what a timesaver this is.

We worked hard sweating the details to make this super smooth and easy to implement

Let's take a look! 👇

on this whole journey of "lets access the vm's without proxmox" just learned that you can enable desktop sharing on Ubuntu, and that Window's Remote Desktop app on MacOS is somehow compatible with it
September 3, 2025 at 1:58 AM
Been running a homelab server on Proxmox for the past year+half and overall been really liking it, however a recent a power surge killed the main drive hosting Proxmox and one VM

Takeaways: use a dedicated Proxmox drive instead of partitioning & use a *good surge protector*

Let me take you on a visual introduction to what big O notation is in my new blog post: samwho.dev/big-o.

With big O notation you can better understand how algorithms will perform in practice, finding orders of magnitude improvements often with very simple changes to your code.
