Over the weekend, I printed this snap-together case. It holds my HRT, daily meds, and rescue migraine meds.
A 3D printed case on a wood coffee table. The print has a large compartment across the top that stores my syringes, and the bottom section is divided into three. The left section has three cylindrical holes for testosterone. The middle section takes up 75% of the bottom section. It's for storing alcohol wipes, but also conveniently holds my daily med case. The last section is small and holds some of my rescue meds. A 3D print on a wood coffee table. It is the lid and snaps for the case in the previous image.

Something I've noticed: strong developers can blend into code bases.

Meaning, the code they contribute matches the style & opinions of the code base. They know how to lean into the strengths of each pattern, and aren't dogmatic about one over the other.

I find myself kinda wishing conferences would hold a pre-conference get together for women/trans/NB folks to meet and find a buddy before it starts. Like a little tea and cookies meet-and-greet before the opening night reception. Just so you have _someone_

Tighten onsite + Laracon was such a fun whirlwind! I had a blast chatting with old and new friends, and once again didn’t get enough photos with people (though I have more than last year)
Myself and Mary Perry both smiling for the camera, I’m wearing a blue button down shirt with lemons, my hair is currently silver, blue, and pink and is spiked up in front. Trump's new executive order about AI states that companies' models must not incorporate the idea that trans people exist as a concept. Seems bad.
The WHITE HOUSE One of the most pervasive and destructive of these ideologies is so-called "diversity, equity, and inclusion" (DEI). In the Al context, DEl includes the suppression or distortion of factual information about race or sex; manipulation of racial or sexual representation in model outputs; incorporation of concepts like critical race theory, transgenderism, unconscious bias, intersectionality, and systemic racism; and discrimination on the basis of race or sex. DEl displaces the commitment to truth in favor of preferred outcomes and, as recent history illustrates, poses an existential threat to reliable Al.

At the beginning of the project I'm on, I counseled nuance and only using tools like Form Requests when necessary. Now that the project has matured, I want more standards to be applied across the repo so that things are more predictable and consistent.
