I’m not generally into pvp and certainly not extraction shooters, but ARC Raiders is absolutely fantastic. Haven’t been this obsessed with a game in years.

Best costume last night - two year old kid in a penguin outfit. I knelt down and asked if he had a joke. He just said “Noot noot.” Gave him all the sweeties.

There’s a guy near us who has a mobile petting zoo, you can hire him for parties and he’ll turn up with spiders and snakes etc.
Every Halloween he does an open house for the local kids. Child 1 was telling us about how she went there last year and “He gave us sweeties if we stroked his snake.” 😬

Borderlands 4 is yet another game that puts “!” markers on new gear in your inventory that should disappear when you look at the item, but sometimes they don’t and you’re just stuck with them forever.
Is this secretly a really hard thing to implement? Because it keeps happening and I hate it.

Nintendo account help needed. I have a Switch 2, my kids have profiles on it. I also have a Switch 1. If I sign up for the Nintendo family account and turn their profiles into full accounts, I can then move all their saves from the S2 to the S1, right?

Gamedev heads-up. People (especially non English speakers) are skipping tutorials and then asking LLMs how to play your game.
An LLM told a Maia player a core mechanic (repairing your base's life support) was purely cosmetic.
And with Trash Goblin it made up game mechanics and items.
