Every sketchbook (~60) I filled between 12 to 22 no longer exist. They were destroyed in a fire. Every time I see people make fun of their old creations I want to reach out & hug them. They don't know how precious those things are, & that makes me glad for them.

Honestly, sometimes just one single nice comment on an art piece or sketch is enough to make my day. Especially because you don't know what someone is going through, so being nice might just help someone's day be better. You never know how much it can mean to someone.
I'll personally compliment artists + friends and sometimes you guys really need it. I'm just trying to live my life like spongbob, I didn't know it meant so much.

I can’t recommend enough the power of switching mediums when you’re feeling stuck or insecure artistically.
Heck, even just switching the brand/type of pen or pencil or brush you use can be enough to shake out the nerves and help drawing become fun again! ✍️
