Issue#1
Vic uses all 3 LBs in base. 5 ypc vs Green Bay. Jihaad weakens edge vs run.

Issue#2
Vic used ZERO condensed fronts vs GB due to his 3x1 problem

Solution
Fix 3x1

New base D:
-condensed instead of 5 down odd
-Jihaad overhang instead of edge
-Coop to strong safety instead of CB

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

Predictably as the new kickoff rules lead to more returns, concussion rates for kickoffs is 12x higher than last year and 5x the rate of concussion on run and pass plays.

The kickoff should be banned way before the tush push

The NFL’s boom in kickoff returns is coming at a cost: Rising injury rates
With more returns have come more injuries, including a surge in concussions that could prompt another look at how to manage player safety.

Jalen is a ridiculous efficiency machine this year...

I’ll take the tush push over near 70 yard field goals
we got kickers standing on their own 40 💪

Panthers would be 9-0 if they traded for Tanner McKee (giving us Jaycee Horn thank you very much)

My quick view on Jaire:

Why not? But this isn’t old Jaire, it’s Howie back to collecting a lot of cheap options.

Still think Jakorian is best option, he just needs to get on the field (and I could be horribly wrong)

They aren’t getting a real CB2 mid season without trying something big.

Credit to Seth Walder who isn't on here (as far as I can see)

Quinyon is missed while he is out... (and thank god Howie didn't take Arnold)

My guys Nate Wiggins ("but but his tackling...") and Trey Amos (this draft's biggest Howie mistake 🥲)

Riq still is solid as an option...

The Eagles going to "soft retire" number 52...? Might as well add it to the list...

Let's see who in the administration put a massive bullish position on Bitcoin or futures this am...

There's no need for sliding payments under a table when mere words will create payouts out of thin air. What controlling power.

Keep thinking where to look to improve the Eagles - there isn't much and it takes both sides to want to deal, but keep coming back to these:

CB
McKee for Jaycee
Kelee + pick for Riq
Sydney for Cory Trice

OL
Toth or Pryor + day 3 pick for Brady Christensen
Day 3 pick for Kevin Zeitler

We called it. Volume up.

Eagles are too predictable here running outside zone from pistol, as they often do throughout the season. But two important modifications here to what they have been doing makes the play successful.

No better account out here if you (1) enjoy Eagles content (2) want to understand structural concepts
Mukuba had some rookie moments in this one. 3 separate clips here he's slow to match his guy and then plays with too much zone eyes on the QB. I know he likes to peak at what's going on underneath. But this is not 3zone, fella. This is a match D. Match your guy. The most notable example 1st:

An "off-the-beaten path" trade target...

I wanted OL Brady Christensen in free agency who can play all 5 spots but really an interior guy and signed for $2.8M. He has played well but is apparently in Carolina's dog house and a free agent this off-season.

Go get him.

Congrats to everybody's week 1 shirts that are all 4-0 to start the season.

My kelly green "PHILLY" with the eagle t-shirt has shown up every week so far.

Thought Ringo was supposed to at least be able to tackle... two missed in a row. He looks like he's 5'8" 160 tackling

This game is featuring several of my draft guys I was good amount higher/lower than consensus on

My "yep" guys:
Payton Wilson
Darnell (can't resist big TEs)
Donovan Jackson (not playing, but liked him a lot)

My "nope" guys:
Dallas Turner
Fautanu (big Eagles guy that I did not like at all)

The "bring back CJGJ" stuff is insane to me especially with Dejean to outside CB. Why does everybody want every ex-Eagle back all the time?

But trying to have an open mind, I'd bring CJGJ back if we could trade Syd for Cory Trice, have CJGJ as backup behind Reed and Mukuba, leave Dejean where he is

I've watched through most of 1st half. Uncle Vic is getting beat up 3x1 outside runs vs condensed fronts again. Rinse. Repeat. The book is out on how to defeat it now. Vic has to adjust. You end up with a numbers problem and then it's RB vs CB outside.

As a special teams fan and general hater of kickoffs, I actually greatly respect and enjoy the Rams kickoffs (although it is adding to my anger today)
