What are we doing.

fascinating that kamala's first big public commentary on politics right now is an "i told you so" smugness while walz has been on weeks of "we fucked up and need to do better" and talking about trying to chart out some kind of actual future and bigger ambitions. quite a split

A reminder for this Transgender Day of Visibility:

Trans people have always existed, and we always will.

No president, politician, or court can change that.

Most of our elected democratic representatives are failing us every day with their silence and complacency. Thank you, Al Green, for your courage. Imagine how much more impactful this would have been if more than just one person in that room had a spine.

This is upsetting and disappointing. I see this as the easy way out. Show up, and then make your displeasure known by protesting or walking out. Absence is silence. Silence is complacency. (And then promoting and using Meta instead of finding another platform? Really?)
I’m not going to the Joint Address. I will be live posting and chatting with you all here instead. Then going on IG Live after.

Tomorrow, February 28, let’s disrupt the status quo by spending ONLY at businesses that uplift our communities.

That means:
🚫 No gas from corporate giants
🚫 No fast food chains
🚫 No big-box retailers (Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)

No dining out.
No Walmart run.
