Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.
And if you feel like it's getting worse, yes, it is. Non US traffic here is minimal. And criticising it, you get "skill issue" or "it's not an echo chamber!"

People are making fun of this, but this is an enormous game dev layoff… there should be a lot more compassion. RE4 VR and Deadpool VR’s studios both shuttered. This in general is a major blow to VR. It’s also a doubling down into AI and wearables, two things no one should be cheering on

I don't know shit about synth programs newer than 2015 btw so I can't answer questions on how the new ones work or what kind of "AI"-buzzwords they're slapping on these things to make their shareholders happy. And I don't want to know because the old programs work fine.

Apparently the AI bros are on another round of "Hatsune Miku is AI, checkmate luddites" so this is just a reminder that the singer behind Miku was paid and still earns royalties, and beyond that, Miku is nothing more than a MIDI soundboard with advanced pitch converter options, it is not genAI.
