UNH launches a "reimagined" journalism major. They cut the major last year as the GOP state government keeps undermining support.
It's got to be tough to teach about an industry that is dissolving and reforming anew almost every day.

I bet the reporter insisted on the wording of this NY Times correction:
A correction was made on Nov. 3, 2025: A photo caption with this article misidentified Graeme Gibson. As the article correctly said, he was Margaret Atwood’s partner, not her husband.

The ground floor of the Monitor building, which we sold but still lease the third floor, now has a daycare center full of cute preschoolers. This, alas, will not be the headline of the story:

Funny how often arguing a point makes you examine it more closely and realize it is flawed.
Just had one of those with an editor. "We don't need to do that story because we already did X and Y and, um, Z, and uh, um, you know what, I'll do it."

My grandmother forged my grandfather's name on the house loan for the home she wanted to buy for her personal financial security. He wanted to rent.
For years she told them they were renting.

There has never, not once, been a verified incident where strangers handed out poisoned Halloween candy at random in an attempt to harm children.
It's an urban legend, used to scare parents and kids.
Should you check your kids' candy? Sure.
But be realistic about it.

I "danced" to that song in elementary school when it came out. 60 years later, it's still a banger.
