NO TIME TO DIE Post-Credits Scene:

Close on Bond's hand. It begins to glow. An explosion of regeneration energy. Craig's face disappears in blinding light. When the light fades, Emma Thompson stares straight into the camera and smiles.

"It's about time," Bond says.

I love these annual "jokes" about everyone forgetting how to drive with the first snow of the season.

But I've yet to see any evidence that most people knew how to drive before this change in the weather.

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake, they called Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy

@joshmatlow.bsky.social said it best.
"It snowed today. And not only is the Ontario Science Centre’s roof still standing, it still has more integrity than the Ford government."

Thanks, Josh!

I wanted pretty little dead things (woo-ooh)
To hang up on the wall
First I have slay, then I like to flay it and display it
I don't care how big or small
Give me pretty little dead things (woo-ooh)
That′s what I want to see
′Cause no one loves a pretty little dead thing more than me

We're gonna have a good day
And all my homies gonna ride today
And all these mommies look fly today
And all we wanna do is get by today

We're gonna have a good day
And ain't nobody gotta cry today
'Cause ain't nobody gonna die today
Save that drama for another day

Aww, it’s the 10-year anniversary of when my dog pranked a blind guy.

She slid on in when his service dog ran off to play (he was on a break) and the guy was petting her and didn’t realize it wasn’t his dog til he got to her curly tail.

Smooooooth. 😂

Locally, we've received our first snowfall of the winter. All the social media posts about it remind me of a quote from the second Jurassic Park (Lost Worlds)

"Oh, yeah. Oooh, ahhh, that's how it always starts. Then later there's running and screaming."

I get my winter tires on Thursday.

I was asked recently what makes me happy. It's this; a fresh loaf of Scottish bread, and a pot of quality strawberry jam. That's really all it takes.

Angela is currently typing a letter on my 1923 Underwood Four Bank portable.

It's the first time she has ever used one of my typewriters.

I've never been so aroused in all my life.

Wow, the French really won that one!
Where the English might say 'It's the bee's knees', the French say 'C'est le petit Jésus en culotte de velours' (It's the baby Jesus in velvet shorts).
