A curse on all apps that steal resources from others and don’t give them back. This has been happening since at least the 1970s - only I am no longer getting paid to fix such things.

When times feel a bit grim, I like to think about the 14th Century, which featured The Great Famine (1315-1317), The Black Death (1347-1351), The Great Schism (1378) and The Hundred Years' War (1337-1453). That always cheers me up

I hope that there is a corner of hell reserved for those who create text boxes that do not allow text to be pasted into them. There should be special punishments for those whose text boxes glibly allow, say, up to 1000 characters but only if typed directly into that box.
