As Fannie Lou Hamer said: "That flag is drenched in our blood". Two enslaved BW helped stitch the 1st flag. One is unknown. The other is Grace Wisher. For Erin Jackson to carry that flag in front of a racist JD Vance was powerful. Our excellence cannot be reduced. #WinterOlympics #TeamUSA

To all of you waking up today to Trump's racism, it's about time. The birther/secret Muslim smear was apparently too subtle. As was the, "good people on both sides" of the Nazi rally in Charlottesville. Who can forget the Muslim ban and the "shithole countries?"

How about banning Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, targeting Black federal employees for illegal layoffs, & turning all civil rights enforcement on the federal level into a question solely about so-called reverse racism against white people? Depicting the Obamas as apes did the trick. Good to know.

Waymo is currently considered the autonomous driving gold standard, and even their "self-driving" isn't really self-driving.

As Musk pushes for his Optimus horseshit in the coming year, we're going to learn "autonomous" really means "poor people in telepresence gear."
It Turns Out Waymos Are Being Controlled by Workers in the Philippines
During a Congressional hearing, Waymo's chief safety officer, Mauricio Peña, was grilled over the company's reliance on overseas workers.

Maria is one of hundreds of children, who — like Liam Ramos — have been held at a Texas detention facility where parents say children languish as they’re served contaminated food, receive little education and struggle to obtain basic medical care.

Here's our attempt at telling their stories. 2/

White People want you to think that D.E.I. is taking away jobs from more qualified White People, but the reality is exactly the opposite: it helps keep qualified black, brown, female, LGBTQ+ people from losing positions to mediocre or less qualified White People. It evens the playing field.

Raising children to be kind, thoughtful, and empathetic. Raising children to feel loved, affirmed, and proud despite what is being told to them by some of the country's most powerful people is something generations of Black Americans have had to do. And still, it came at a cost to them too.
