At last, here’s all my painted Rohirrm on their new Midgard friendly bases. Finished the last of these today.
So that’s 30 stands of cavalry, 1 of which is guard and 4 are light.
13 stands of infantry, 1 of which is guard and 6 are bows/skirmishers.
There will be more but orcs to finish next.

I decided to try and make a closed ecosystem from what thrives in the shady areas here.
I got moss, lichen, couple ground cover plants. It's been rainy - everything is decently moist. Didn't knowingly pick up any animals, but bugs do tend to show up.
Let's see what happens. Good luck.

Someone drilled their six on Snow's! My money is on a certain former student.
First time on the ice for me this season. Looks like 1-2 inches on Snow's Pond. I'll be holding out to fish until there's thicker ice.
Sebec has ice and looks pretty but I'm not checking that mess. Lol

I love the light during winter. Whether it is low sun at 3pm, moon, or winter stars. It hits different in the hushed solitude of winter woods.

As 2025 appears on the horizon it feels incumbent for those of us who can, to help spread cheer, peace and good tidings.
After 2024, it's never felt more important for ppl & their families - however they may interpret 'family' - to champion those who are struggling to parry the powerful & selfish.

Well, happy white Christmas to me. The driveway berm is already waist high from the plow and looks like 8" on the ground. I have nowhere to be so pictures won't be until after coffee,breakfast,and possibly a nap. :)
