A sorceress astounded by her creation.

This painting has been floating around in my head for months now, and I only found the right time to bring it to fruition yesterday!

A sorceress astounded by her freshly sculpted homunculus. A single shaft of light illuminates her creation. Bounce lighting reflects upon the sorceress. The homunculus has a flaccid butt. The maker's hands are covered in fresh clay. They are the only body parts of the sorceress that are directly lit. Faint, residual purple smoke wisps from her fingertips: the homunculus stands in an awkward pose, that of a creature freshly adjusting to its body. The homunculus has thin limbs and a hefty torso, though it is faced against the viewer. The sorceress's workshop is littered in sculpting tools, brushes, an open tome of transmutation, ceramic bowls and a pitcher of dirty clay water in which lie a few of these tools. Clay shavings are scattered about the floor. A red, runic circle surrounds the humonculus. In the dark background it is possible to catch a few failed prototypes on a shelf.

My gijinka design of Susie from Kirby Planet Robobot preparing to take a selfie. She's holding a vanilla ice cream cone with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. She doesn't have much of an expression, as she's still readying herself. The composition shows her from an above angle. She is aiming her phone in such a way that it shows off both her ice cream and her figure (which is curvy). The background is a simple blue halftone gradient with a blurred and transparent copy of Susie in it. The border is angled slightly to the left and references the layout of an Android phone camera app, with settings that read "PORTRAIT," "PHOTO," and "VIDEO," all of which are written in the New World language from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. My Susie is kind of an Instagram girlie, so this scenario is very common for her. A phone wallpaper featuring my Susie gijinka recreating an iconic joke seen in many wallpapers featuring cute anime women (i.e. pressing their boobs and face against the screen). Susie has her left cheek, hands, and boobs pressed up, with an angry/annoyed expression (the reason why is entirely up to you). She's missing her tie, for obvious reasons. The background is blank with a very dark navy, and the foreground has white glass shines, emulating the idea that your phone is turned off while Susie is trapped inside. Better get her out of there sometime. Or not. Whatever you wanna do. A recreation of one of Kirby's "Sparkling Pupupu World" manga strips, many of which feature Susie. This one replaces Susie with my gijinka design for her, swaps out what Copy Abilities Kirby is using, and adjusts the dialogue to make it read more like an actual official translation, given most fan translations of the manga are very literal. The manga reads from up to down, and plays out like this: Panel 1: Kirby is showing off his Doctor and ESP Copy Abilities (the original strip used Whip and Ice). Panel 2: Kirby walks around with the Poison ability (the original used Circus), and my Susie gijinka notices him, fascinated by his vast wardrobe. She thinks to herself, "Kirby looks so different every time I see him... He's strangely well-dressed..." In the original fan translation, she says "Every time I see Kirby he looks so different... He's unexpectedly well-dressed?" Panel 3: Susie looks down at her own outfit and silently assesses it, with a text box pointing at her and saying "Same outfit as always." The original says "Always wearing the same outfit." Panel 4: Susie freaks out while Kirby looks at her confused. She says to herself "I've been letting myself go! I need to be just as fashionable!" The original says "I need to be as well-dressed! I've really been letting myself go!" My Susie gijinka wearing the outfit of Iono, a popular streamer from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. She has a big yellow and black jacket with oversized sleeves, a silver body suit with black outlines and an exposed thigh with a black strap on it, Waddle Doo hair clips that reference Iono's Magnemite clips, and a modified golden hair clip with two extentions. She's walking towards the viewer while doing a fun pose and happily winking at them with a huge grin. The background has a modified version of Iono's logo using the Haltmann Works Company's logo, with bolds of cyan lightning shooting out from it all over the place over a purple backdrop. Susie herself has a big white and purple border to separate herself from the background so she can stand out more, as she is drawn lineless here.
