I finally got around to graduating from UoS last month… Of course I wore my keffiyeh… One of the lecturers told me afterwards they were so happy to see it they almost shouted out to me on the stage! 🙌🏽🏺

Well I got this offer from UoO earlier this year & after dithering I accepted. Whoo hoo! Unfortunately I did not acquire the scholarship to fund it. Boo! 😕 May be able to fund some (loan) but not all of it (nearly £20k)- any ideas? The dude suggested women in STEM but I haven’t found anything yet.🏺

Some of you may have seen the video of the wounded, dead & screaming children in Gaza today. I hesitated initially but I watched it because we must bear witness. It is horrifying. It seems appropriate to post Baldwin, perhaps every day, until there is some semblance of moral clarity. #genocide #gaza
