A bit lefty but don’t understand this Labour Party, have now joined the Green Party. Socialist principles but accepting people can earn more. No to tax havens, yes to wealth tax. Walk bus train run cake
They can so they do. It’s cheaper
It is astounding that the majority of routes do not have toilets. The right to a toilet at work is a basic human one and should be a given for all workers. Bus companies know what they should be doing but are ignoring the welfare of their drivers. 2/2

That’s good, it falls to bits they can then outsource all services to their buddies who’ll do a much better job

We all know how well the private sector does, look at our water and sewerage infrastructure works for the public, the money made keeps our bills down

🚨 BREAKING: Kent County Council is hurtling towards financial oblivion under Reform.

A shocking new council report reveals a projected budget black hole of £46.5 million for this year. The Reform Administration has completely lost control of our finances. 🔶

More generation from wind and hydro, these are 24 hours a day (assuming we don’t have still nights and extended drought).

Pumping water upwards into dams when demand is low and generation is high, great opportunity for hydroelectric schemes to help bridge the high demand times.

Dinorwig works
The thing we don’t hear, have never heard and you won’t read today is what the energy will cost - I’m not sure the government or industry knows. If it does, it doesn’t want to say. That’s an informational black hole at the heart of all the SMR hot air.

One telling the truth with thought out policies with funding and fund raising defined

One lying and exaggerating one set of policies paid for by unknown ultrarich mostly not resident in the UK. Also looking to click bait into no 10

Race to the bottom.

UK banks push for easing of capital adequacy rules. They want deregulation and lower capital requirements to compete with shadow banks which are unregulated.

This will end in tears. Public purse will bear the cost. All avoidable. Will any govt resist the City?

The Rule of Law and enriching the rich.

For £60bn private sector investment in public assets, UK govts paying £306bn + billions in servicing traps.

Govt has revived PFI, calls it Public Private Partnership (PPP) and will apply it to the NHS. Billions will be drained from public purse.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich

Such a pity that frontline NHS staff aren’t given the space in newspapers to air their thoughts, as Streeting is. The NHS is currently missing around 100,000 staff. It’s no surprise when they’re bashed continually for fighting for fair working conditions🚨

There's a part 2 to this Byline Times article by Dr Nafeez Ahmed. Not delved into it myself yet, but fill yer boots if you like.

Just my own worthless opinion, but I think this is where the real story on the current BBC debacle is. Not that that will be widely reported.

They came for the………

Then they came for the christians

Who will be next? A terrorist state working its way through genocide and expulsion until its empire reaches across the whole Middle East and beyond.

They own the world, not Jews but Zealots

So true!

Getting money into the economy to generate job numbers is required. Remember that poor people spend not save.

Raise lowest tax threshold
Pay waspi women
Pay nuclear victims
Pay blood scandal

That’s a start for justice and will generate jobs
AI doesn’t create jobs
Financial services don’t create jobs
Slashing civil service roles and LA services don’t create jobs

Growth comes from improving wealth at the bottom not the top.
Will Rachel from accounts recognise that?
