I know the square roots of 121. I know x^2 = 121 has solutions +-11. I know sqrt(121) =11 and radical121 = 11. When asked the specific question ‘what is the square root of 121?’ What is the answer (i.e does it mean the function)? Where can I go for a definitive answer & who decides?

#ALevelMaths back when I was on twitter, there were some lovely people offering mock oxbridge interviews to students, but I never took them up on it. Now I’ve got two great students who I know would benefit from the experience. Can anyone here point me in the right direction?

Looking ahead to next week, can anyone point me in the direction of who might do a best guess Edexcel Further Core paper 2 after paper 1? I’ll have a go, but it’s my first year of the y13 course & a quick turnaround. Basically looking for the edexcel version of Tom Bennison. Thanks! #alevelmaths

The latest TikTok predicted paper scam is a made up "5 year rule". I've found out these companies are making tens of thousands of pounds by lying to students about their "predictive methods". Make sure your students are clued up:
