I teach guitar, create YouTube guitar lesson videos, write guitar books, and ride my bike. That's pretty much it.
Last week I posted the final Rhythm Guitar 3 lesson: a review of all the moveable chords that appear in Rhythm Guitar 3. youtu.be/sgPfYXf1eiI
In January I’ll start uploading lessons from Three-Note Jazz Guitar Chords, which focuses on shell voicings.

I'm not quite right in the head, so I decided to climb up the Paseo de la Mesa trail twice today. It didn't feel great, but my legs felt better than expected. I'm planning on doing this double climb every other week.

Great moments in music education: I just remembered a lesson from a few years ago. I was showing a kid a scale or a fingering or something. He seemed to be engrossed in what I was saying until he blurted out, "My dad has those same socks!"

My older bike just went home with its new owner, the father of one of my piano students. Now he can ride bikes with his son! (And I have a little bit more room in my apartment again.)

New bike! This is the Primos Superdame. Steel frame with a carbon fork. 1x gravel group set with electronic shifting. I added Redshift bars/grips and a Brooks saddle. Considering this is the first drop bar bike I've ridden in over 30 years, it felt surprisingly comfortable.
