Hey #Economics and #Philosophy folks, does anyone know of a good intro book or resource on game theory? Something that could be recommended for 2nd year students is what I’m after. Thanks.

This is coming at us fast, like really fast. Purposely. It’s a calculated, well orchestrated plan. Canada, Mexico, Panama, Denmark, now the UK and the EU. There are timelines, we’re only 2 weeks in. We don’t know what’s to come, but it’s going to hit like a ton of bricks soon. The pieces are moving.

NAFTA was a great accomplishment, one of the triumphs of the whole postwar liberalization of global trade. Its net effects were very positive for all three countries. A curse on the name of every US politician of both parties who spent years belittling it, and most of all on Trump for destroying it.

We are in the midst of a revolution, the violent part just hasn’t begun yet. The US is actively shifting from an institutional order built on rules. Soon, there will be a constitutional crisis, and the rule of recognition will shift. Force will follow threat. Directly or collaterally, we’ll feel it.

At the very least, pause it. And consider going Telsat. If ford is serious this is a key step.
Ontario must end its StarLink contract now.
I hate that it's gotten this far, but if countries want to counter a US-imposed trade war, they should make Elon Musk's companies a focus of their retaliation.
Those business interests have effectively merged with the US executive branch, and decision-makers value them more than the American people.

Over and above punishing Musk’s interests, with the rapid integration of his communications infrastructure with a rogue U.S. government, Starlink is increasingly a security risk.
