I've been reading a book on color's cultural relevance through different time periods and I finally got to the chapter on white. I'm not gonna lie, it was kind of a hard read, but had this one line:
"White is defined by what it excludes."
And if that isn't the realest shit I've read in a while.

We must learn how to honour and appreciate a person while they are alive. The sudden rush to understand and appreciate a person when they are gone is a stark contrast and an indictment on the neglect of the living person we dishonoured by our absence. Presence with the living shows them you care.

SPEAKING of the #HUMAN #BRAIN… think of the brain as like an engine that uses fuel and has an exhaust. The fuel is glucose. brain uses 25% to 40% of the body’s glucose energy. The exhaust is oxidants. Hence you need anti oxidants. Rubbish fuel in, Bad performance out. You think what you consume.

What ruined #dancing for me was the shift from innocent seductive-fun to predatory. I was in a mens locker room with a handsome and popular co worker who confessed to teaching Salsa to gain access to bed women. He bragged about working his way through all his female co workers and was later fired.
Rewatched STRICTLY BALLROOM last night and we really should put more dancers in films and just...film them. It's quite magical. I'll never understand how we handed the editing of musicals and dance films over to overcaffeinated hummingbirds.

“I’m sick of you.” People can cause stress. Stress can cause illness. Illness can cause death. People who cause stress cause death. Yet despite this understanding, and workplace stress being a very real crime, it’s still ok for some people to slowly kill their victims through cumulative stress.
