I’m not happy about the vote but children were going hungry. Yesterday, I dropped off food at a local Head Start pantry which distributes on Wed. As I unloaded the car, parents were picking up kids from preschool. A woman approached & asked hopefully, “Oh, can we get food today?” I was devastated.
