Yesterday was a monumental day for Nottingham and the Green Party. Through the efforts of our Green Councillor Shuguftah Quddoos and Party Activist Animah , as well as countless others, a motion to Boycott, Divest, and Sanction Israel has been passed uncontested.

The Planning Bill is back in Parliament today.‼️

From the start, it’s been controversial: risking damage to precious wildlife and habitats.

Peers reduced some of those risks.

Now MPs get to vote: keep those protections, or strip them out.

While the fossil fuel corporations and the petrostates hold up the action we desperately need at #cop30, down the road, the peoples’ summit is underway. Only people power will save us from climate catastrophe.
