I've lost track of how many times now grand juries have rejected Trump admin attempts to secure indictments. Just an amazing-to-behold combination of (1) bad lawyering and (2) weak / transparently political prosecutions. Would be humiliating, if these folks were capable of feeling humiliation.
I think we've just barely dodged a potential new Reinhard Heydrich and his Einsatzgruppen. Bovino reveled in the cruelty and brutality - it filled him with pride and a sense of power. As the article says, it gave him purpose.
