What a treat to talk with multiple Dora Award-winning actor/writer Kristen Thomson, who’s making her Coal Mine debut in FULFILLMENT CENTRE.

Director Ted Dykstra immediately thought of her when he read the script. They starred in PROBLEM CHILD almost 30 yrs ago.

What if the election of Mandani were a sign that being a smart, positive, authentic, solution-oriented, candidate who listens to and appears to genuinely want to improve the lives of his constituents is a good approach?

I don’t think I’ll get through the entire Hellraiser franchise - frankly, I don’t have enough capacity for pain - but IV, “Bloodline,” does feature a very young Adam Scott.

You need to understand that he actually believes it is illegal to criticize him. Why? Because Trump believes he - not the people - decides the law.

This is why we are in the middle of, not on the verge of, a totalitarian takeover.

These Blue Jays appear happy. After 2 days of torrential rain, the sun is shining and I’ve cleaned out the soggy seeds, cleaned the container and refilled it with new seeds.

Wishing the #TorontoBlueJays a big win tonight 🙏

Interesting to learn that Jacobs-Jenkins is working on a response to The Emperor Jones for Shaw; I'm fascinated by that Eugene O'Neill play.
What a treat talking to Pulitzer and two-time Tony Award winner Branden Jacobs-Jenkins about THE COMEUPPANCE, starting previews today at Soulpepper, and his Shaw Festival workshop of a new play next summer.

Out in today’s @thestar.com.

Branden Jacobs-Jenkins will spend his summer in Niagara-on-the-Lake workshopping a new play for the Shaw Festival. But first up: "The Comeuppance" at Soulpepper Theatre.

Loved pretty much everything about BLUE MOON — set during the opening night of Oklahoma! — including Ethan Hawke's revelatory performance as lyricist Lorenz Hart.

Also reviewed DOUBT: A PARABLE. And there's a free ticket giveaway to the new Tarragon show.
