AMD Ryzen AI Max

AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series for notebooks.

Of course, the high price of RAM and fast SSD storage (caused by AI data center demand) is going to be a problem.

This is pretty kick-ass from AMD

This is an interesting but ineffective spam/phishing email that has been showing up multiple times a day lately.

Especially since I have never had an iCloud account or owned any Apple device in my entire life.

The assumption by the bad guys that most people will probably have an iCloud account.

I scored this three CD set today at 2nd and Charles.

I had never listed to Herbie Nichols before tonight. It is quite different than most 1955-1956 hard bop jazz.

This is unfortunately not surprising from Tony Dokoupil and Bari Weiss.

I am a little surprised that the chyron says Secretary of Defense instead of "Secretary of War"
Of all the competitive authoritarian developments of the past year I think the fall of CBS News is among the most chilling. That this can happen to easily and so quickly freaks me the fuck out.
Nightmarish. CBS News is now running straight state propaganda. They handed Hegseth all three segments and are now tweeting flattering sound bites.

More hard bop jazz music from 1960!

Sunny Side Up from Lou Donaldson. It was originally released on Blue Note, but this is the SACD version from 2011 by Analog Productions.

Just bought Blues and Roots from Charles Mingus today.

It's from 1960, and I had never heard it before. The more Mingus I hear, the more I like it.

I'm 99.99% sure that this is an AI slop image. People keep posting it though.

The three silver components are way out of proportion, being far too wide.

The small wood color speakers are also ridiculous.

Free Bird may be the most annoyingly overplayed song ever but have you seen a couple of hotties shred it on the bagpipes and an electric violin?

Dean Martin's "Sleep Warm" from 1959.

I think many people primarily remember Dean Martin from his mostly silly movies with Jerry Lewis, but he was a legitimate singer before that.

I've been listening to a lot of music from the late 1950s-early 1960s lately.

Lena Horne could sing!

I've always liked this album.

Listening to it on Christmas Eve on a FLAC 192kHz/24bit version on Tidal

Donald Byrd - Fuego from 1959.

It sounds pretty sweet!

Listening to Jazz and flashing a BIOS.

This is a great album from 1961!

This is a great Bill Evans album, from 1961.

It sounds very nice on this Sony CD player, going into a modern Burr-Brown DAC.

This is more evidence of what an absolutely horrible human being Trump is. He honestly doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities at all.
Trump's such a piece of shit.
