RE: abolishing NHS England…so basically, the NHS is for the interim period going to be even less fit for purpose - and this could last some time - just as Labour has announced proposals to force disabled and long term sick people into work, many of whom are on waiting lists for treatment? Right. 🫠

Also @theguardian.com - why are you giving this dr a platform? A dr who specialises in psychosomatic illness has no business deciding that autism & ADHD are conditions that are just “in people’s heads”. Given that so many neurodivergent people aren’t believed, it’s especially disgusting.

So…can we start seeing ADHD as a real and debilitating condition now? Both autism and ADHD are associated with lower life expectancies. Which is what makes them being the next probable target of the culture wars even more fucked up.

Sobbing over the death of David Lynch. Of course, I didn’t know David personally, but he had a profound effect on my life. He made me realise that being “weird” is okay, and that you can make something wonderful from it. I wouldn’t be who I am without him. RIP to one of a kind. 💔
