Friggin amazing. I mean, I could not possibly care less about basketball (or most sports, for that matter), but I know how important they are for others. I love anything that can be done to make them enjoyable by all. ❤️

I forgot to take a picture before I left for work, but I have Excavation Earth sprawled out on my desk to refresh my memory of the rules against the solo opponent in preparation for hosting the game at #ConoftheNorth next week. I knew this game slaps, but I’d forgotten how hard.

Felt like -15 F at the MN State Fair’s Ice Castles last night with the family, so I figured it’d be a good place to do a little proselytizing for the lizard cult (since @leder.games is just down the road, after all). The little Frost monsters loved the rainbow slides and ice dragon eggs!

Throwback to ten minutes ago when life was chrome and my Big Rig was unblemished. Two earthquakes later (which served to kill THREE of my wife’s pesky bikes) and I was forced to drive through two hazards (with no more lane changes) and took the final damage from her spiteful air strike. Witness me☠️

My daughter just got a glow in the dark pillowcase and black light pen from her uncles and she was ecstatic. She drew all through storytime and I told her she could use it a _little_ afterward. 20” later, she’s found and recharged everything that glows and been practicing stencils like Banksy 🤣

I enjoyed easily my most board gamey Christmas season yet (my kids _made_ me a custom game for a present, we had excellent extended family game times, I made huge headway on several hobbyhorse projects…) but I missed just 2p unwind with my partner. Now we return to Explorers of Navoria #boardgames ❤️

I enjoyed easily my most board gamey Christmas season yet (my kids _made_ me a custom game for a present, we had excellent extended family game times, I made huge headway on several hobbyhorse projects…) but I missed just 2p unwind with my partner. Now we return to Explorers of Navoria #boardgames ❤️

Last night at the parents’ and wow did we have a blast and play some GREAT games. I got Snakes of Wrath from my brother and it rules, I played a great round of La Mariole (indoor bocce), and we ended with an awesome teach n play of QE. Not to mention all the amazing family activities. Very full ❤️

Man, this game is fantastic. Board game holiday FTW even when I take the big L. #boardgames #pandasaurusgames

Had a blast teaching my parents how to play Quacks tonight (and Kate and I both getting smoked by both of them for our troubles). And getting to use the ingredient dumpsters! What a fun, silly game, but also man, set 1 is pretty solid but the bag pull birds slow it down, might try a hybrid next time

Looking for help finding a publisher for this co-design, Horns of Harlem. It's a mid-weight worker placement/tableau builder about managing a jazz band during the Harlem Renaissance. It's consistently well-received, but we've been very cautious about pitching b/c we want the theme handled with care.

One of the most awe-inspiring game experiences to date (and an incredible soundtrack we spin on the regular).
It’s hard to overstate how thoroughly Kate thwarted my evil plans in the final turn of LOTR: Duel. I was pushing for a nearly unanimous military strategy while the Fellowship amassed supporters, towers, money, AND rings (hard to imagine how I lost!), but it was a final gold card extra turn win. 😭

Welcome to ADHD hell. We’ve gone through some recent downsizing and layoffs, so we just have one department for all nine layers… but it’s calling and emailing multiple entities to try and get insurance coverage figured out for a serious condition that’s not causing you immediate pain.

Welcome to ADHD hell. We’ve gone through some recent downsizing and layoffs, so we just have one department for all nine layers… but it’s calling and emailing multiple entities to try and get insurance coverage figured out for a serious condition that’s not causing you immediate pain.

The Frost Fleet now has a little bit of Radiator Springs right here in IRL. The Cars franchise has an outsized impact on us, and I don’t care what anyone says, Cars 1 is friggin great and Cars 3 is filled with genuinely important life lessons (and we correctly treat Cars 2 like it never happened).
