A lot of the actionable advice here for American trans creators really stuck out to me, particularly the warning that we need to stop heavily relying on cloud storage for harboring our works, because those are platforms to which trans folks' access could be rescinded at any time.

I went to the hairdresser to get most of my hair cut off, kind of forgot about it on the way home, then had a genuine "who the fuck is that" jump scare when I walked past my bathroom mirror, because that is apparently how absentminded I am right now

It's been driving me nuts that a few of my things have been missing since I moved last year. Just found my grandpa's old trumpet wrapped in a blanket inside a bag inside another bag inside a crate at the bottom of a stack of things too big to fit anywhere... Fair if I lost track of that one, I guess

I have all these body horror ideas related to pressure and expansion, but I haven't been able to find a context for them. Just realized if I stopped trying to fit it into a magic-free setting, I could use all of them at once with a fantasy universe and a particularly mean spirited water mage 🤔

I've barely been drawing anything in a very long time but I'm suddenly fueled by the maniacal desire to draw EVERYTHING all at once hahahahabflabdn this is not good but also don't stop me I'm clearly thriving

Slowly resuming my job after a 2 month medical leave and my team lead was like, maybe we should put you on the internal team where there's fewer developers so it isn't as hectic, and honestly YES, finally I can return to my passion of creating extremely specialized apps relevant to under 50 people

I'm at the "playing Powerwash Simulator for hours to cope" level of dysfunction. Nothing wrong with the game, I just have to be severely broken to not get bored by things like that after 5 minutes

I've gone through a pretty awful series of dentist appointments in the last month. I was supposed to go to the last one today, but now of course the dentist is sick and I have to wait a week. Screaming internally, I just want to get it over with

My figure drawing class started back up and I kinda decided I want to learn to use oil pastels, but damn, I don't know if timed sketches are the best way to figure them out. Oil pastels are weird!

I can't believe how good Netflix's One Piece adaptation is?! Just, what?? Genuinely exciting and funny and touching! My knowledge of the manga is limited, but all the characters feel like they're casted perfectly and the plot edited down very efficiently

I made a goal this year to go to more concerts, which I have done, but clearly I should do it even more. Going to music festivals both this and next weekend, and even though I'm going through horrendous bad brain times atm, I'm like yayyayyay let's go let's go! Music is the best thing in the world
