Fantastic #parkrun at Vicar Water County Park this morning with my friend Peter. Luckily, what goes up must come down! The gorse was amazing and smelled of coconuts, perfect running weather (bright, dry and cool), and fabulous views from the top of the hill! #LoveParkrun #dfyb

Start and end of the first run for two weeks. Good to get most of it done in daylight and that will only improve! Enjoyed some speed work even though it wasn’t very speedy. Found a flat-ish route near work with no roads which looks like it’ll work well for these sessions. #ukrunchat #garminplan

Run directing at the beautiful Foots Cray Meadows this morning. Fab team of vols saw 90 runners safely out and home. Last time I was there was the big storm at the start of December, so it may have been cold today but at least we stayed dry! Got to give gorgeous George 🐶 some treats ♥️ #loveparkrun

So apparently the act of sending loved ones little videos and cute pictures and funny things throughout the day is called "Pebbling" because there's a species of penguin that likes to leave pebbles in their partners' nests to show they care, and this is my happy thing for today

A fabulous evening yesterday with the good friends, a delicious dinner then listening to the St Martin’s Ensemble at St Martin in the Fields. It was all amazing but the Vivaldi (which is what we really went for) was fantastic! #vivaldi #fourseasons

Got home from parkrun, had coffee, porridge and a bath. Lay down on the settee with the heated blanket on. Put Wallace and Gromitt on the TV and woke up in time to see the last 20 minutes 🤣

I’m always looking for things that explain a lot but that people have a hard time remembering.
Examples: Air is stuff. Pee comes from blood. All land vertebrates have a single common ancestor. Venus is bright enough to cast visible shadows. Clouds are heavy. Bones are alive.
