Reader, she was not the last woman to leave.
Tho Naomi is raising two admirably useful sons who will be making and serving canapés for the dissolute and fiendish adults she has invited.

And I am making a solemn vow not to be the last woman to leave.

Going in for round 3 of my birthday celebrations. Once I’ve mustered the motivation to shower and wash my hair.

Does anyone use powdered coconut milk instead of tinned coconut milk for cooking (I’m thinking curries, broths etc)? If so which brand is worth trying? Thank you

I am here to say that Superdrug’s own brand throat lozenges are not a patch on strepsils.

Such a good film. I took myself on a solo afternoon date to watch it at Peckhamplex when it came out. Loved it.
In case you haven't seen it yet, the 2023 film Rye Lane is on the BBC iPlayer and is a total delight

Folks, is it OK to mow your lawn at 8.30pm? I mean, I wouldn’t, but am I being sensitive (even though I no longer have small children who I’m trying to get to bed at this time…)?

I can attest to this. Although I have yet to sample it a second time because Alanna has cleared the stocks of every* Aldi in London.

*may be a slight exaggeration
And this wine from Aldi. Clue is in the (terrible) name, it’s a mix of rosé and orange wine. Tho I suppose rosé is skin contact too, come to think of it?

Anyway, it’s got that slightly heavy viscosity of an orange wine that I love. Serve it colder than wine Nazis like. And it’s a tenner.

Extending #FreeSchoolMeals to all #UniversalCredit families is a welcome start. Can we also look at:

1) National auto enrolment to reduce bureaucracy & ensure everyone is included.

2) Reassigning the sugar tax levy to children’s health not treasury. £34M raised 21/22. Not a penny went to schools.

Just had to get rid of my fig 😢 Infested by ants which did not want to move on, despite lots of gentle prompting. So slowly it died. Have taken a couple of cuttings in the hope there is something I can do…

I repotted approximately 20 million tomato plants this evening. Ran out of bigger pots even after I’d rifled through the recycling for all the big Fage yogurt pots.
