Lunchtime. I repurposed a small portion of spicy soup into a warming noodle bowl. Black soya bean noodles, tofu, tenderstem and soya beans.

I have just polished a huge bowlful of keema mattar (made with soya mince - never used it before!), with brown basmati, raita and cavolo nero for health. No pud. No boozes.

Well now, buoyed by the success of my table runner I have also made a festive cushion cover for my 10yo for Christmas! It’s funny how much of what you learn as a child is still second nature.

I couldn’t find a simple plain table runner for Christmas that wasn’t silly money. So I’m making one out on the little basic sewing machine which I picked up for free a couple of years ago.

Me and the smallest boy have been dehydrating whole limes for our wreath. They have been dehydrating in the instant pot for approximately 543 hours so far. Still a bit juicy.
