The new Frankenstein movie was... good. Kinda mixed on it. I'm a fan of del Toro's and Oscar Issac, so I was excited for the combo. I'm glad I saw it, but WAY too gory-violent for me to want to go back for a second viewing.

Like every other comic artist I know, I rely on ACA benefits to afford healthcare. Despite the healthcare I have now still not being enough (I haven't been able to afford a spine surgery I need to return to my usual standard of living) I will be extremely screwed if I have no insurance at all.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
