As an Autistic individual, many of us on the spectrum struggle with Agoraphobia.
We take the "safety from our own home" seriously as even the simplest thing like 'smelling a flower' or getting the mail terrifies us

I don't talk about it often, but I have to say this:
Agoraphobia is serious. Telling me to go outside and take a walk or get my own groceries isn't helpful. You are telling me to jump out of a plane without a parachute.
I don't have access to proper therapy to work on things like Exposure Therapy.
