Avenge me!

I’m liberal and will get political on here, because I hate fascism. So you might as well block me if you’re down with the orange Julius Caeser.

I love Star Trek, but Paramount deserves to die a slow death

@democrats.org Not one damn cent from me until Schumer is out as leader. All your emails go to spam

No political contributions until Schumer is out as leader @thedemcoalition.bsky.social
Schumer can be removed from his Dem leadership role this week - 23 Dems (and/or independents) just have to vote to depose him

And they should, given this is his fault.
This is a lovely sentiment but Schumer isn't up for re-election until 2028 and he knows this. At which point he will be 77/78. There's no mechanism to recall a sitting senator AFAIK.

Past me reminding present me that as bad as I thought America was, it was going to get exponentially worse.

I know this so far from Star Trek related, but I have to vent.

Get this guy as far away from American politics as quickly as legally possible
SCOOP: Schumer was more involved than reported with the attempted cave on the government shutdown. The Gang of 8 Senate Dems had his approval & he was getting daily updates.
In Thursday's caucus meeting, the Gang claimed they had 10 votes to cave. The caucus went nuts, leading to the new proposal.
Why Does Schumer Keep Trying to Cave? - The American Prospect
Most commentators, including me, concluded that the Tuesday election victory saved Democrats from capitulating to Republican demands to pass a simple continuing resolution to re-open the government, i...

1) Cool that Frakes finally got the chance to say the “Captain’s oath.”

2) I’m not sold on how the saucer section looks.

3) Would’ve been funny if they had another disclaimer that said:

*Ship does not go to warp
LEGO posted this cute video for the launch of their first official #StarTrek set today

It’s #2. She’s murdered before, you think she wouldn’t do it again?

Psychopath gonna psychopath!
And my thinking is either:

1. Somewhere in the timeline before Old Janeway returns to the past to get Voyager home early she works with the temporal cops and gets a single Get Out of Timejail Free card and uses for that

or 2. the time cops *tried* to stop Janeway and she simply murdered them all

Setting aside that Medicare-for-all especially is extremely popular, there’s a bigger point: Political parties shape public opinion.

If Democrats just follow polls, jettisoning morally correct, good policies because they aren’t immediately popular, they’ll lose every battle.

And deserve it.

Full disclosure: My friend is a creative on this, but as a casual gamer I thought the first two episodes were fun and the story is pretty compelling
Oh, Dispatch is now available.
I'm very interested in this game made by some former Telltale employees, which seems to be an evolution of the Telltale formula, with a fun take on superheroes. Can't wait to try it out.

Ok so I made the "Neelix is a pedo because Kes is 2" joke the other day, but now I just watched an episode that reminded me he also had some wildly creepy jealous overbearing controlling shit going on too.
