How do pieces like this get approved by editors? Lady moaning about buying 7 bedroom house for £425k and can’t sell for £2.5m. Rode asset inflation up for decades and she says they have done crucial upgrades like a sauna!

For all the complaining I see about Continental Europe from right wing X influencers in U.K. I thought this chart was interesting illustrating higher real PPP GDP per capita in many Northern European cities than London. Also fascinating how other UK cities lag a lot…

America is rich and the UK is poor…
True but this statistic shocked me…
The average wealth per American adult is $620k but the median is only $124k!

The average wealth per UK adult is $339k and the median is $176k. 🧵

Amazing piece…so funny….”when we told the Poles to go home we didn’t mean it literally”
Amazing, the @dailymail.co.uk manages to publish an entire lengthy feature bewailing (!!!!) the exodus of Poles from Britain without once mentioning Brexit. Apparently this outcome (which is surely exactly what they campaigned for in 2016) is all the fault of Keir Starmer.

The great exodus: How Poles are ditching UK for their booming homeland
New statistics reveal that while 7,000 Poles arrived in the year ending last June, 25,000 returned home: a net outflow of 18,000. The UK's total Polish population has shrunk to 750,000.

These self valued portfolios are fascinating. It’s like the guy who owned a bunch of holiday caravan home park and the papers said he was a billionaire pointing to his Ferrari and young glamour girlfriend but same dude was bankrupt within a year.
If renters Bill doesn’t hit this guy the budget will!

it's been very effective with people not in the industry; when I've pointed out to those saying how great he is that from my point of view as a City person for decades, he's committed a cardinal sin by massively over-inflating his credentials, they simply don't care. so yes, it's worked:
