Hi Everyone,

I got kicked off Twitter because I hate what's happening, so I decided to come and check out Bluesky. I'm looking for my old friends and new friends. I love the environment, human rights, being a liberal Jew, and not taking shit. If that sounds good, let's connect! Thanks, Gabrielle 💚

This is disgusting behavior! People shouldn't have to starve because the asshole running the show can't handle losing!!
Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.

Reporter @virginiagewin.bsky.social interviewed 19 current and former US federal agency scientists about the science being dismantled at EPA, NOAA, NASA, CDC, NIH, & USGS.

They say it's making America unprepared for environmental and public health crises.

99% of climate scientists agree: Human activity is changing our climate. (Looking at you, fossil fuels.)

The true danger lies in ignoring the experts. It’s time we stop denying the truth and #StandForScience.

We need to take action now to Stand for Science. Because the fossil fuel playbook is clear: Attack science. Attack scientists. Keep people from hearing the truth that burning fossil fuels is changing ...

We are all immigrants or descendants of immigrants unless we're Native Americans! We love our immigrants! They make California the amazing state that it is!
California is home to the most immigrants out of any state in the nation.

We also have the strongest economy out of any state in the nation.

Not despite our immigrant population –– but because of it.

Disgusting treatment of my Senator!
@padilla.senate.gov represents the best of the Senate.

The disgraceful and disrespectful conduct of DHS agents, pushing and shoving him out of a briefing like that, demands our condemnation.

He will not be silenced or intimidated. His questions will be answered.

I’m with Alex.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin is preparing to roll back rules that limited mercury, lead, and arsenic emissions from coal plants, protections designed to safeguard brain development and prevent heart and respiratory disease.

Seeing the news out of Boulder is bone-chilling.

Another violent, targeted attack on the Jewish community. The second in a two-week period.

Keeping my prayers with the victims. We must resolve to drive antisemitism out of our society.

California has a right to protect its own people. From dirty air and dirty water.

Now, Republicans in the Senate want to change that. And repeal California’s right to set its own policy, even as they eliminate the filibuster to do so.

This is stupid and dangerous!
Support staff for wildfires have been decimated. This directly ties to the points made about some of the flaws in thinking about a Wildland fire service. It just isn’t that simple.

Bad news from our sister agency, National Park Service.

The story indicates this will apply to all of DOI!

If true, the beginning of the Reduction in Force (RIF) would coincide with the 30-day timeframe after competitive areas were released.
