Come what may, I will bet on us, every time, because there is no other bet worth placing. I am all in, fam. I will never stop looking for openings and aiming at them. I will never stop reaching for people and saying, “Take my hand. We can do this.” Because we are worth it.

When congress takes the “let them” theory far too literally.

I keep thinking about how the misrepresentation of the McDonald's hot coffee lawsuit convinced Americans that it was too easy to sue corporations — a laughable idea if you think about it for 10 seconds.

It's the same with trans kids: The scandal is that care is too hard to get, not too easy.
10/n To sum up:

1. The moral panic was gibberish. Only a tiny proportion of kids have ever been diagnosed with GD, and very few of those got drugs in the UK.
2. Services in the UK were TERRIBLE before the Cass review. Less than 1/10 ELIGIBLE kids were prescribed medications!

I will also add that people in Congress are not volunteers. They are being paid. They have health insurance. They have retirement. They have ONE JOB—to serve their constituents. And if they cannot figure out how to push back politically they don't deserve to be in office.

This whole "It's just a distraction" line of thinking needs to die. They are genocidal bastards hellbent on eradicating the trans community. It's not a god damn distraction. This is what they stand for and you're running cover for it by minimizing it.

Trans kids are not a bargaining chip. Being trans isn’t a culture war. Not giving an inch in my support for trans and nonbinary people of all ages to live freely and openly, and neither should you. Gender is what we make of it, and that’s what they’re afraid of.

Honestly after blocking a whole bunch of people this app isn’t too bad.

Woke up at 6 am to the sound of the cats knocking coffee cups out of the cabinet in their attempts to steal a loaf of bread. This is excessive, yes?

Let me just say that if part of the campaign was to wildly increase the spread of panic and misinformation then it’s been incredibly effective.

Why on earth would you legitimize this and treat their argument as good faith or well-founded? This is dangerous behavior.
My key point here is not substantive. I find Trump's order cruel & terrible, but whether it is constitutional is a separate, crucial question. Left-leaning people like me should assume good faith by those suggesting the order is constitutional & engage with their arguments.

Really missing the ability to 👎🏻 a comment like on TikTok. I used it sparingly, but some takes just deserve it.

Look, I know the courts may not save us. But please don’t underestimate how bad some of this administration’s arguments will be.

Does anyone else have cats who brazenly go through kitchen cabinets stealing all of the snacks they can or did I accidentally adopt raccoons?

I wish there was an easy way to block all of the folks co-signing the transphobia on here. Wtf is up with liberals gleefully awaiting the chance to misgender someone?

They are rushing to do as much harm as possible as quickly as possible. In their haste, they will make so many mistakes. Don’t legitimize their attempts, focus on effective strategies for fighting back and take the time to exploit weaknesses. Please don’t spread misinformation or defeat.
