“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

Trump's corruption is unlike anything I've ever seen: completely centered on one man's narcissitic bloviation.

Few Americans have ever focused on Putin's Murmansk speech on Mar 27, in which he essentially said: I get Ukraine, Trump gets Greenland and Venezuela, Xi gets Taiwan. It's the core of their compact, in which the US is the junior partner.

It's the perfect plan if you're a president seeking to monetize the Office.

It wouldn't surprise me if the joint venture agreements between Trump-related entities and Russia aren't already signed.
They want Greenland because Peter Thiel wants Greenland, he wants the resources while Putin wants to stop NATO from using Greenland to patrol the Arctic from, NATO also patrol the Arctic out of Canada so there's a few reason both countries are important to them.

The U.S. government just banned five people from entering the country because it doesn’t like their speech. This ban, according to the State Department, is necessary to protect free speech.

If that sounds insane to you, congratulations on your reading comprehension.

Let’s talk about something not many people are chatting about and what’s actually happening right now.

You might wonder why Imran Ahmed and the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) suddenly became targets of the U.S. government. The honest answer is that their research hit where it hurt.

Americans can no longer afford cars. The average car payment is now more than $750, and buyers are taking out loans that extend eight years or more. They're paying a fortune in interest and run the risk that the car will depreciate before it's paid off.

As car prices rises, auto loans stretch to 10 years or more
Cars are so expensive that what used to be a standard five-year loan has given way to six- and seven-year terms, with some borrowers pushing even further

I say his gently, but…

There’s something unspeakably shameful The United States letting people go hungry.

Not because its government doesn’t fix it —

but because tomorrow a few private Americans could, and never notice the cost.

That’s the part that sits wrong.

I've been wondering about this myself.
The DOJ never told us how many documents, pics and vids made up the Epstein files. How will they prove these million documents were just found and not part of the original inventory?

I love this address to the British people (also aimed at an audience of allies):
KIMMEL, to the UK:

“.. It may not seem like it, but we love you guys. .. We’re going through a bit of a wobble right now, but we’ll come around. .. Give us about three years.”

The new auto loan interest deduction isn't quite the consumer boon that Trump touts, but it does offer modest tax benefits to the middle class who can afford to buy a new automobile in the next four years

Does it offset affordability? No, not really.

An unforgettable day at RES! Our students and staff donated 845 boxes of cereal (a new record for our event!) for the Akron–Canton Foodbank-and then watched them topple in an incredible school-wide domino run. The cheers, the smiles, the chain reaction... pure joy.
