February is heart month, and it feels like a good time to remind ourselves to take very good care of all our Yorharts. :) Thanks to Matt for sharing his story ❤️ gentlerstories.notion.site/Being-fit-an...

The MOST gorgeous, cute (and I don't say those words lightly) graphic anyone has *ever* done about us!

Thank you @inastudious (sadly not present on here, but you can find her on TH, IG) for this amazing recap of what Gentler Streak is all about 🧡

Obsessed! :)))

Working on bringing cardio fitness aka VO2max into the app! Here's the concept by the wonderful Sören Selleslagh (Yorhart's dad).

As you can see it won't be a static one, but the better the cardio health, the bubblier the visual! 🫧🫧

Thanks to our friends at Tiimo app for letting us know - looks like Gentler Streak made a brief appearance in the Liquid Glass demo at the Apple Stockholm dev conference! 🥹 Appreciate it so much: the caring and the sharing. :)

Curious: does anyone read our release notes or you all just tap that update button/auto-update apps and voila? Cheers!

1.1."I'm working out every day this year!"

21.1.: guilt, missed workouts, feeling 💩ty.

Apparently, 23% abandon resolutions in week one. 43% by February > all-or-nothing goals *don't* work.

And we are pretty sure that activity that fits your actual life, energy, and schedule does.

If you're in the northern hemisphere, the days are still short and likely gloomy (hello there! :). You may feel more tired than usual - and that's completely normal: your body is asking for more sleep, not more hustle. Get more sleep without feeling guilty. Seasonality is part of our biorhythm. 💤

Your overnight heart rate patterns can tell you a lot about recovery status.

Drop back to baseline quickly = recovered well
Stayed elevated = might need rest today

Our bodies are pretty good at signalling what it needs - if we would only listen. :)

It's almost mid-January.

If you've already skipped a few workouts, your Apple Watch is probably making you feel guilty about it.

Here's the thing: rest isn't breaking your progress. Pushing through exhaustion is.

Your body adapts during recovery, not during the workout itself. 🧡

Apparently it’s #QuittersDay?

Turns out, realistic expectations and personalised guidance, sparkled with some self-compassion, can help with quitting quitting! :) 🥰
