You can present data, or you can present it beautifully. We chose the latter: because how it makes you feel matters just as much as how accurate it is. 🧡

Weekly Recap now in testing.

We've been quiet over here, as it's hard manage so many platforms, and then the ones where we don't see much action get left behind. ANYHOO ... as probably most of indie teams, we have a neat update stacked up.

#ios26 (do we even do hashtags here?!), here we come!

Not with one, but two apps. 😱😄

Then there's the RPE sync with Apple Workout's app (OFF by default).

All of your entries from Apple’s Workouts app can now be synced with Gentler Streak and affect your Path.

If not familiar with the RPE concept, there are some insights about it in the app, go have a look! :)

🐾 NEW UPDATE 🐾
version 5.5

No more teasers, it's finally OUT! :))

Non-recorded daily steps now count toward your Activity Path. :)

It's not about turning steps into something to blindly chase but to better reflect how your everyday movement supports your fitness over time. 🧡
June 5, 2025 at 3:53 PM
The #WWDC25 icon dropping later this week 👀🤍
June 4, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Step count can easily turn into another thing to chase, and it's not what we’re about.

We skipped the ring visual because it subtly pushes you to finish it, even when it’s not what your body needs.

Instead, we chose a softer visual that should support awareness, not pressure.

RPE geeks, hear me out!

The RPE Sync with Health is also on the cards for Thursday! Your entries from Apple’s Workouts app will now be able to be synced with Gentler Streak, and affect your Path.

There's some RPE articles in the app, which we recommend reading before going full RPE mode. :)

On Steps, there’s a little gentler twist: you choose what to compare your day with - a typical day of the week (like Monday to Monday) or your daily average.

You'll also notice a thin line in your “sun”. It shows where you stand against your chosen frame.

3 more days to the launch! <3

June 2, 2025 at 3:46 PM
Steps, like all our features, come with personal settings. They sit in Wellness, where you can reorder or hide metrics to your liking.

❌ Don’t want steps to count towards your Activity Path efforts? Turn them off.

🙈 Want them tracked but out of sight? Just hide them.

Your daily movement will soon be reflected with:
• a soft contextual visual
• current distance, duration, HR & flights
• a progress chart, either compared to the typical day or your daily average (a 🧡 speciality),
• 14-day trends & scrollable calendar

The countdown is very much alive :)

If aerobic and anaerobic workouts are a steady part of your routine, steps might not change your fitness status much.

But for those managing chronic conditions (the pic below) or doing lots of daily walking, steps offer a more accurate reflection of their activity levels. #Tminus7
