I want the world to know we tried. We voted, protested, told folks to vote, called reps who had authority to use checks and balances to stop this. They betrayed us. Neighbors (relatives, friends) listened to lies and betrayed us. I want the world to know AT NO TIME DID THE MAJORITY OF US WANT THIS.

Sadly, it looks like centrists will have to pick a side or the fascists will pick one for them. It's sad because moderation is usually a good policy, until somebody decides they're going to break everything in order to "win" because they can't stand the idea of *everyone winning*.

Now Trump and DOGE have to hire them back thanks to court orders.
Most workers have been placed on administrative leave — technically rehired and paid, but still unable to do vital work in our communities.

Zelenskyy stayed in Kyiv while Russia was bombing the city and sending in hit squads to kill him. J.D. Vance fled to an undisclosed location because some peaceful protesters yelled at him while he was on vacation. This is why I believe victory over these people is still possible.
