Walked for a bit around Columbia Forest. About 30% of sidewalks shoveled. I had dug out my car yesterday, but my asshole parking lot neighbor piled snow from his car behind mine, so I had to do it again! Also, my building cares about plowing for cars, pedestrians not so much… #ArlingtonVa
Entrance from around my outdoor parking spot to the garage. The garage door entrance for cars is well plowed. The pedestrian entrance next to it has barely been touched and you have to climb up a snow bank to get to it. The door doesn’t even open all the way due to snow piled next to it.

Mostly sleet coming down now in Arlington, but it’s still pretty out there where the snow has fallen on Four Mile Run creek.

Congrats to Alex Honnold for finishing free-climbing Taipei 101 in Taipei. Really tense to watch, and a very cool feat. Taipei also showed off itself quite well, such a great city! Congrats on a smart marketing campaign for Taiwan too!

Back at Open Studio for the first time since November, yay! Pretty happy so far with my pottery pinball machine built from a slab. First time making a box, let’s hope it stays together! Did some glazing of old bisqueware too. So so happy to be back!!

My Columbia Forest condo building is prepared for snow. Right now I kind of wish I had applied for a new, more expensive parking spot inside the garage instead of outside. At least I have a good shovel in my storage unit!!

10 years ago today, my friend and I were at Cap One for Ovi’s 500th goal (thanks to tickets from @msewb.bsky.social). It was SO FUN, the crowd went CRAZY! It was incredible. Last night he scored 916. #GOAT #ALLCAPS

Pottery classes finally starting up again next week, yay! In the meantime I’m practicing drilling into rocks and making little figures from rocks and metal wire and a ceramic base.
