Unistellar EVscope images from last night. This scope is best for fast live viewing vs astrophotography (IMHO). With a group, it’s particularly fun to very quickly view many amazing deep sky objects in a single night. #Unistellar #astronomy #stars #Nebula #planet #jupiter #EVscope

The Pleiades (M45) open star cluster. I added a star “burst” filter to the Seestar. Interesting effect, but perhaps a bit much. I was also hoping for more of the reflection nebula, but I guess a longer exposure is needed. #stars #astrophotography #cosmos #nebula #astronomy #seestar #Hawaii

Triangulum Galaxy (M33) from my yard in Hawaii. This galaxy is the 3rd largest in our Local Group. At 2.78M light yrs away, it is visible to the naked eye on clear dark nights — not my naked eye…but some. ;) #astronomy #cosmos #galaxy #Seestar #EQmode #photography #nature #astrophotography #stars

The red giant Betelgeuse is so large that, if it replaced our Sun, it would engulf all 4 of the inner planets of our solar system. Nearly reaching Jupiter, but not quite. #Astronomy #Astrophotography #Betelgeuse #Orion #Nature #Unistellar #stars

This is insane. Many of those restrained for hours are US citizens. Please share these events, vote for change and pray it doesn’t get even worse.
This shit is dystopian. Blackhawk helicopters, zip-tied kids, and racial segregation vans.

ICE is terrorizing communities.

It’s a core First Amendment principle. This is utterly lawless behavior, for which there will be no (short-term) consequences.

That he does it so casually, as they are walking away, in front of cameras.

Rightly confident in his impunity.

Shouldn’t every American be concerned about this Supreme Court DOGE ruling and it’s implications for your privacy…
