FACT OF THE DAY. 24 November 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald, charged with the murder of President John F Kennedy, was shot and killed by Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby live on national TV in the basement of Dallas Police Headquarters. Speculation now arose as to whether Oswald was being silenced.

FACT OF THE DAY. 22 November 1963. 1:00 PM. John F Kennedy (aged 46), was officially pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital by Dr. William Kemp Clark who felt the damage caused by the fatal shot to the head was the ultimate cause of death. Kemp put 12:50 PM as the actual time of death.
