My Lyft driver last night was a true bozo. He started the ride telling me how he's definitely not racist, and then proceeded to say a bunch of dumb shit that definitely makes him racist.
And while that's truly awful, a bit unsurprising. The true "WFT?" moment for me, though, came after that.

The US TikTok sale has been signed. The company will be controlled by a joint venture including Oracle, Silver Lake, Andreessen Horowitz, Abu Dhabi-based MGX. Adding a UAE company really makes it clear that this was never about national security concerns.

Just a reminder that Dawn dish soap is EXCELLENT at cleaning windows.
I've tried so many different window-specific cleaners and NOTHING gets rid of the haze on the inside of a windshield quicker or better than Dawn.

Had a nice enough day yesterday and was able to wash my car.

I bought a large canophera stick for my dog. She likes it reasonably well, but it makes a mess so definitely an outside toy.
I also bought a large BetterBone. She really likes it, and while it does produce flakes, it doesn't form sharp edges like the Nylabone. That's a win.

Has anyone tried the coffee tree dog chews? My dog has a nylabone that she prefers, but would prefer to offer her something natural so long as it didn't make a huge mess.

If I've learned anything in my 16 years of being in the dev space, it's that almost nobody will actually read ANY amount of documentation you prepare for them, especially in a corporate environment.
Most people want to be spoon fed the answer, which is the biggest drain on budget and resources.

I regret to inform you (me) that your (my) dishwasher service is scheduled for November 17th.
Very cool that the very expensive dishwasher that we purchased 3 months ago already has an issue that is going to require a technician to come out.
