Why the hell in the year of our lord 2025 is a “smart” thermostat’s auto mode for temp control not enabled by default and can only be turned on in the advanced menu options!??
Had to manually change them over to heat this morning even though the app let me set separate heat/cool setpoints.

Finally got her to put on the “uncomfortable” snow pants and jacket. Of course she had a blast in the snow. Just had to get the 2 hours of screaming and crying out of her system first.

One year later and my now 5 year old again threw up the night before Veterans Day and had to stay home. Incredible.
Shout out to my 4 year old having the stomach flu starting at 1 am last night. Wasn’t supposed to have Veterans Day off.

Saw the Barbie movie, I enjoyed it! Didn’t expect it to be so dark and political and at the same time hilarious. Some of the sequences felt like The Big Lewbowski dream scene.
