The fact that modern browsers ship with a feature allowing websites to 'notify' users, is an absolute pox. I can only imagine the torrent of notifications elderly people are faced with. No clear way to disable them without going into settings in the browser. Scope for abuse is massive.

Every time I think I’ve seen the worst of DCC they find a way to surprise me. Human shield needed at any soup lines count me in.
