I did that.⤵️ The Telegraph’s figures for how many #solar #solarsky panels needed by 2035 were an order of magnitude out, due to some frankly silly maths that assumed solar farms are a flat sea of glass. Breaking news: they aren’t.

Brilliant!

The Labour government has issued over £630m to schools, hospitals, and other public buildings for measures including heat pumps, solar panels, insulation and double glazing.

It is estimated measures like this will save the public sector around £650m a year over the next 12 years.

Ed Miliband has approved all of six nationally-significant scale #solarfarms thus far and imagine the counterfactual: refusing a project that would help fulfil manifesto commitments just because of the donation. This is desperate stuff from the Conservatives.
