We’re reading The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, where the main character uses bottle caps, bamboo, a plastic bottle, etc to build a mini windmill to power a radio. I said out loud, “Wow, he really macgyvered that together.” Nothing but blank stares or looks of confusion. I’m so old.

It’s safe to say I understand Ada’s Dream much better. I won 104 to 90. I do like the game a little bit better. Still don’t feel compelled to get this game to the table on regular basis, but wouldn’t say no if I were invited to play. #boardgames

Ada’s Dream didn’t quite do it for me last time. Hubby read through rules again, discovered a few mistakes we were making, and then re-explained a part of the game I had ignored, but is actually important to scoring. Let’s see how this play through goes. #boardgames
