Exactly. We simply can't afford to make a "cinematic trailer" — every dollar* counts! So we focus on game development and in-game assets, and build our marketing on whatever we can pull together from that 🫡

3D Peggle was not nearly as fun in the prototype as it was in my head. I guess that’s a good thing - I don’t need any more game ideas that I want to put into production.

Achievements - Getting Data Without Analytics
We add achievements to our Steam demo for SpreadCheat and designed the achievements so we get good funnel stats - without having to implement a tracker or ask the players for consent!

Creating a cozy game has been such a fun challenge. It has made me rethink a lot of what I’ve learned about game development, especially how to make things enjoyable and rewarding without relying on difficulty. But without a doubt, my favorite part is the audience. Love the positivity and kindness!
